Rosetta’s arrival at comet 67P/Churyuomov-Gerasimenko – Webcast 6.8.2014

On Wednesday August 6th ESA’s Rosetta comet chaser will inject into final orbit around its target comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko and will begin an intensive monitoring period of the comet and its nucleus.

ESA directors, together with comet experts from around the world will follow the complex approach maneuvers of the Rosetta spacecraft. During the event, experts will explain the critical flight operations live from the Rosetta Control Room as the spacecraft flies at 100 km from the comet nucleus, 400 million kilometers away from Earth.
