Space for Innovation in Rail

”Space for Innovation in Rail – Towards Satellite Based ERTMS” will be organized for the second time by the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) and the European Railway Joint Undertaking (EU-rail). The two-day event brings together the main European transport stakeholders, including key policy makers and rail industry representatives, to discuss the deployment of the European Union space Programme resources in the rail sector. The main theme of the event will be the use of European global Navigation satellite systems (GNSS) for the safe location of trains in the development of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS).
The event will be held in Madrid.
