It states in the report, among other things, that the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment acts as the space licensing authority in accordance with the Space Act.

In 2021, several permitting procedures were implemented. The development of the permitting process will continue in 2022 in cooperation with other ministries and operators. In 2021, a total of eight Finnish satellites were launched (six Iceye’s and two Reaktor Space Lab’s satellites), which are recorded in the Finnish Registry of Space Objects.
