International Cooperation

International cooperation plays a key role in space policy

International cooperation can be used to carry out challenging space missions, create new innovations and scientific advances, and create common space regulation. Finland’s key international cooperation organisations include the European Space Agency, the European Union, the UN Space Committee, the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the European Weather Satellite Organisation (EUMETSAT), the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and EISCAT.
