ESERO, the European Space Education Resource Office is the European Space Agency ESA’s most important channel for supporting cooperation with schools. ES-ERO promotes science learning, multiliteracy and STEM competence and utilises space-related themes as well as the interest of children and young people in space and astronomy.
ESERO Finland provides space-related learning materials and classroom activities for early childhood education and care, basic education and secondary education. ESERO Finland together with the entire ESERO network and the ESA develops teaching materials and distributes them to Finnish schools free of charge.
ESERO Finland operates extensively in two languages throughout the country, coordinating ESERO activities in Finland. ESERO organises further training and events, and supplies easy-to-introduce learning materials to classrooms.
ESERO Finland also disseminates information on study, career and work opportunities in space research and astronomy. Follow the website for up-to-date information on ESERO Finland’s activities. ESERO Finland activities are implemented with the support of the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation and the ESA. #ESEROFinland
